Abstract

The research method employed in this study is empirical. The author utilized observational and interview approaches to gather relevant data. Observational approach involved direct observation of the operational aspects of the Bank Sampah at the research site, including waste collection, sorting, and management processes. This method provided the author with an in-depth understanding of how the bank sampah functions in practice. Additionally, the interview approach was utilized. The author conducted interviews with various stakeholders, including bank sampah managers, members, and local community members. These interviews aimed to capture the perspectives and experiences of these stakeholders regarding the role, challenges, and proposed solutions related to the bank sampah. The combination of direct observation and interviews provided a comprehensive perspective in this research, allowing the author to accurately and deeply describe the role of bank sampah, the challenges faced, and the proposed solutions.
