Abstract
Writing a thesis with the title "The Role of the Yogyakarta Special Region Environment and Forestry Service in Supervising the Management of B3 Medical Waste at Panti Rapih Hospital". Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3) has components that contain dangerous chemicals. It can be called dangerous because if it is not managed properly it can have the potential to endanger health or cause injury to the people involved during the B3 waste management process and will also have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. Therefore, the role of the Yogyakarta Special Region Environment and Forestry Service is very important in efforts to improve control of environmental balance through monitoring the management of B3 medical waste carried out by health facilities and/or hospitals within the Yogyakarta Special Region Province.
