Abstract

The author of this research writes about the implementation of cash compensation in Ngawen Village, Ngawen District and Demakijo Village, Karangnongko District, Klaten Regency, then the factors that become obstacles in the process of compensating for losses due to the Yogyakarta-Solo toll road. To develop toll road infrastructure for public use, land is needed as a place for construction. The construction of the Yogyakarta-Solo Toll Road passes through Klaten Regency, one of which is located in Ngawen Village,and Demakijo Village, Klaten Regency. The land or assets of Ngawen and Demakijo Villages are affected by the construction of this toll road. If there is land acquisition for public purposes, the village land or assets of Ngawen Village and Demakijo Village will receive compensation which goes into the village treasury. Land acquisition for public purposes is regulated in Law Number 2 of 2012. The process of implementing this compensation must fulfill several conditions that must be met by the city government itself. In implementing TKD or village treasury land compensation, the Village Treasury includes planning, preparation, implementation and delivery of results. However, the factor that is an obstacle in this implementation process is time, because the regent and governor's permission takes a long time to obtain.
