Abstract

Legal protection for women victims of revenge porn as a form of sexual violence aims to examine the implementation of legal protection in Indonesia, particularly from the standpoint of the "Right to be Forgotten" principle. Revenge porn a form of sexual violence, is a means of male control over women for the purpose of sexual exploitation as a form of revenge. The Ministry of Communication and Information has full responsibility for implementing the "Right to be Forgotten" concept. Law enforcement officials are authorized to report cases of electronic sexual violence to the Ministry of Communication and Information. Law enforcement officials and legal aid institutions are increasingly aware of the importance of providing comprehensive assistance. In response, the Government of Indonesia should developed counseling services to handle victims of Revenge Porn and has provided education to the public regarding the protection of personal data.
