Abstract

Bali is a province located between Java and the Nusa Tenggara Islands. Since its inception in 1958, the Province of Bali has used Law Number 64 of 1958 concerning the Establishment of Level I Regions in Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara as the basis and legal umbrella for the Province. Currently, problems arise because it is no longer relevant to use this law which is parallel to West Nusa Tenggara and Nusa Tenggara. East Southeast which causes the Bali Province movement to not be agile in developing local wisdom in Bali and Bali feels unfair because it does not receive Profit Sharing Funds from the APBN allocation, namely Natural Resources Profit Sharing Funds. This is because Bali Province does not have natural resources that can be processed. Due to this problem, the Central Government replaced Law Number 64 of 1958 concerning the Establishment of Level I Regions in Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara into Law Number 15 of 2023 concerning the Province of Bali. In Law Number 15 of 2023 concerning the Province of Bali, local wisdom in Bali is highly valued by the Central Government and will be assisted in strengthening and advancing this local wisdom such as culture, traditional villages and subak. The type of method used is a normative legal research method using primary legal materials consisting of Law Number 64 of 1958 concerning the Establishment of Level I Regions in Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara, Law Number 15 of 2023 concerning Provinces Bali, Bali Province Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2019 concerning Traditional Villages in Bali and Bali Province Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2009 concerning Subak as well as other regulations related to this research. The results of this research are the form and role of the Central Government to assist Bali Province in terms of funding local wisdom, namely culture, traditional villages and subak. That with the role of the Central Government in strengthening the advancement of culture, traditional villages and Subak, local wisdom in Bali will always exist and continue to develop even though developments in the times are occurring very quickly.
