Abstract

This research discusses the role of the Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK) in providing a service to provide protection and assistance for restitution calculation facilities to children of victims of sexual violence in the East Jakarta area. Currently, the conditions in the child's environment are starting to be threatened with the emergence of increasingly disturbing crimes. This crime not only has physical consequences, but can also leave a deep emotional trauma for its victims. Therefore, the State, especially the government as the person in charge of the protection of Human Rights (HAM) should take concrete steps to prevent the occurrence of crimes in the environment. In addition, the State or government can strengthen regulations related to the Child Protection Law and provide guarantees that children who are victims can get full restitution rights. The problem raised in this research is regarding the implementation of the provision of restitution calculation facilities for children victims of sexual violence by LPSK, especially in the East Jakarta area. The methods used are primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The results of the research obtained data that the applications entered in LPSK in the East Jakarta area had a high number in cases of sexual violence against children. So that in this case the State together with LPSK needs to be responsive to ensure that the rights of missing victims can be restored.
