Abstract
This legal research/thesis is entitled Judges' Considerations in Imposing Crimes against Narcotics Abusers in Relation to the Objectives of the Narcotics Law (Case Study Decision Number 145/Pid.sus/2021/PN.Yyk). The problem studied by researchers is the efforts made by the government to deal with narcotics abusers which according to the researchers are appropriate when linked to the provisions in the law. The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the accuracy of judges' considerations in imposing criminal sentences on narcotics abusers who are linked to the Narcotics Law. This research was written using a normative research method with a case approach, namely analyzing the judge's considerations in handing down decisions against narcotics abusers. The data collection method in this research is a literature study carried out in studying and researching primary and secondary legal materials. The result of legal research or writing this thesis is that the judge's decision in handing down a verdict against a narcotics abuser is in accordance with what is in the Narcotics Law, namely a sentence of 1 (one) year and medical rehabilitation.
