Abstract

Mitra Utama Kepabeanan (MITA) is a customs service user that engages in various export and import activities by providing specialized customs services for exporters and importers. The purpose of this research is to understand how Mitra Utama Kepabeanan at the Tanjung Emas Semarang Customs and Excise Office Type Madya provides services for the export and import of goods. In this type of legal research, the researcher employs normative legal research using primary legal materials as the main data and secondary legal materials as supporting data. Data was collected through interviews, newspapers, journals, and case studies in the library. Research findings indicate that the Main Customs Partner Facility, also known as MITA Customs, facilitates both exporters and importers in exporting and importing goods. The presence of MITA Customs can expedite the unloading of containers at the port and allows goods to be imported and exported through the Main Customs Partner services at the Tanjung Emas Semarang Type Madya Customs and Excise Office.
