Abstract

Chicken farming is a business activity by breeding or cultivating chickens in order to get benefits such as meat and eggs as a source of protein, food suppliers and industrial raw materials. This study aims to determine the impact of chicken farming and law enforcement. This type of research is empirical legal research which means that this research focuses on social facts. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through interviews. The results of this study show that chicken farming has a positive impact and negative impact on chicken farm entrepreneurs, the government, and the community. Law enforcement against environmental pollution due to chicken farm waste is considered not to be running well and lack of supervision and socialization from related parties. To create an environment free from pollution, good cooperation between related agencies is needed so that in the future law enforcement against chicken farms can run optimally.
