Abstract

The role of the DPRD according to forming regional regulations together with the regional government, discussing and giving approval to regional plans regarding the regional revenue and expenditure budget made by the regional government. Carrying out supervision of the implementation of regional regulations and the APBD, the background of the problems that have been raised, the author determines the formulation of the problem about the role of the DPRD in making environmental regulations in the City of Yogyakarta. This study is to provide a better understanding of the role of the DPRD in making environmental regulations, in the Yogyakarta city. The research that will be conducted to determine the role of the DPRD in making Regulations on the Environment, legal research focuses on existing social facts. The results of this study state that the role of the Yogyakarta City DPRD in making regulations on the environment has been running well This research was conducted directly to obtain valid data by visiting the DPRD members as a respondent to obtain primary data and supported by secondary data consisting of primary legal data and secondary legal data.
