Abstract

BPK is required to report the results of investigating state losses that have criminal elements to the institution authorized to follow up, namely the Aparat Penegak Hukum (APH). The purpose of this study is to determine and examine the examination of state losses by the BPK at the request of Kejaksaan Tinggi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), the study also examines the obstacles encountered and the efforts made to overcome them. The type of research used is normative legal research, which focuses on positive legal norms as primary legal material and secondary legal material as supporting data. The results of this study, namely the stages of the Penghitungan Kerugian Negara (PKN) are pre-planning, planning, implementation and reporting. BPK and Kejaksaan Tinggi DIY face various obstacles in the PKN process and continue to make efforts to overcome these obstacles.
