Abstract
This study aims et analyzing the application of time and cost optimization concept by the use of crashing approach. Due to management carelessness and some problems that have not been anticipated in advance, contractor will have to pay fines and face delays. To avoid these penalties contractor need to crash a few critical activities so that the project can be completed as schedule. The crashing approach will produce efficient decisions in terms of time, cost, performance and management abilities of the contractor. The campus of Sanata Dharma University was taken as the object of the case study. The result shows that the approach cannot solve the problems because the owner gave unreason completion date.
