Abstract
qualitatively by applying scoring and questioner methods, and quantitative measurement including productivity, and attaining of quality distinction, such as reject and rework rate. The data was pooled by interview, observation technique, and searching of historical data. Thus, the result is some report of pole product, such as auditing report of internal and external quality, daily report, weekly report, and monthly report. The correlation between the effect The implementation of quality management system, as a standard, has developed in recent years. This standard is an important instrument to enter the international market, to win a competition, and to improve quality. These factors affect manufacture industry and the construction industry. Many industries or organization often adopt ISO 9000 as standard for quality management system. ISO 9000 is not for services and production standard. It means a standard of quality management system that applies to production process to produce services or production: This research aims to analyse a contractor, PT. Wijaya Karya Beton, which has been certified by ISO 9000. It denotes that this company implemented the quality management system as like as ISO 9000. This study also identified the criterion that is used to evaluate contractor's performance. Those criterions are measurement of the process flow and actuating procedure, consistency of actuating, and written procedure. This research measured the performance of company performance while applied ISO 9000 (qualitative measurement) and its productivity, rework rate, and reject rate (quantitative measurement) was analysed by Pearson Product Moment, a technique for correlation analysis. The result of data analysis reveals that the qualitative measurement showed-that the qualitative and quantitative measurements tend to give the similar trends. Therefore, it could attract a conclusion that PT. Wijaya Karya Beton was in the properly condition implementing the quality management system of ISO 9000.
