Abstract

This Legal Writing Program titled Development Child Penitentiary Class IIA Kutoarjo Children in the Criminal Process Guidance, legal writing is aimed to determine the Prison Program Child Class IIA in improving child Kutoarjo Criminal to be back into the community and become a better person and able to respect and obey the norms of public life and to know what the constraints experienced in implementing the Children Prison law No. 12 of 1995 on Corrections as a legal basis coaching. Legal writing is normative legal writing that focuses on the normative legal norms of positive law in the form of legislation which is the main secondary data as data, the data collected by the author are interviews with informants that prisons officers Kutoarjo Class IIA and the respondents in Criminal Children, and also use library research. Child development programs Kutoarjo prisons are in accordance with Law No. 12 of 1995 which includes coaching education programs, health, spiritual, physical and arts, but the coaching program is not optimally performed by Children Kutoarjo prisons because there are several obstacles that occur in the field such as the lack of officer who has a criminal background coaching the child as well as some coaching programs that children are interested only temporary means coaching program is the result of cooperation with the agency or institution, if in the next year partnership is no longer the criminal child who is still in the development phase of the program told replace the other. Prison Officer for Children, laziness factor of the child is the biggest obstacle for them, because in addition to fostering a sense of enthusiasm for coaching programs, prisons officer Kids should also encounter the wishes of children of various kinds.
