Abstract
The time and cost estimation is the problem which is paid attention in construction project implementation. The time and cost estimation that is made sometime will be different between planning and realization. This condition happened because construction project has a high uncertainty. The accuracy of time planning will influence amount of cost that will be needed. In the time and cost planning that have made in the beginning, sometimes it is needed optimization. Time and cost optimization have a purpose to finish project earlier with cost more economical. The change of duration will bring change of cost. Amount of this change of cost that is looked for is the minimum, whereas amount of time is the possible. This research uses Monte Carlo Method to determine duration acceleration and amount of change of cost for each work activity. From this calculation, then calculated optimal cost with also overhead cost from the acceleration. Minimum cost and optimal duration determine by plotting in graphic which is shows deal time and cost. Data which is used in this research is data from construction of Hotel Horison Ultima Riss, Yogyakarta. The result shows that, this project can be finished in normal condition with duration 237 days with cost Rp. 20.341.978.205. Whereas in acceleration condition, duration becomes 223 days with cost Rp. 20.325.568.080, or in the other word, there is reduction cost Rp. 16.410.125.
