Abstract

This study discusses the risks faced by contractors in the construction business in Yogyakarta and aims to find out what risks that have the most impact and high frequency and manner of handling the most frequently taken. Where to achieve these objectives, the tools used in the form of questionnaires, and also for data processing is done using descriptive analysis method From the results of questionnaires and processing data, found that the risk of having the highest impact is the Design Risk (2.7656), and for the risks with the highest frequency is Legal Risk And Regulation (2.2250). In dealing with the de, the contractor more select the ways to determine the clause addition / compensation in contract payments, make a schedule for plan and control, and providing material needs in advance and store them, And for Legal and Regulatory Risk, contractor will take a preventive mueasure such as delay the project, mueasure such as determine the clause addition / compensation in contract payments, and make a schedule for plan and control.
