Abstract
The study is titled , Decreased Use of Credit Services Credit Unions by the Society in Yogyakarta Province . The results of this study aims to identify and evaluate the reduction in the use of the Credit Services Credit Unions by the Society in Yogyakarta Province , and identify and evaluate the measures used by the provincial government to address the decline in the use of services by the Credit Unions Credit Society in the Provincial Yogyakarta. Type of research is the normative legal research conducted legal research based on secondary data . This study took data sources derived from primary legal materials and secondary legal materials . Methods of data collection through interviews and literature study. Data analysis includes a description, systematization, legal interpretation, and assessment of positive law. From the research, the authors came to the conclusion that the factors causing the decline in the use of services by the Credit Unions Credit Society in Yogyakarta Province is the high interest rates, limited financial resources, borrowing a process that requires a long process, Identity Credit Unions Members are less clear, Credit Unions became passive and non-active, take advantage of the benefit of its members . The measures used to address the provincial government decreased use of credit services Credit Unions in the province of Yogyakarta is the socialization , coaching , education and training , empowerment and monitoring , supervision and inspection.
