Abstract

This thesis is talking about the probability of the implementation of the criminal law in the case of the elimination process of negative impact in online games for the children in Indonesia. In this thesis, there are two problems which would be elaborated. The first problem is discussed about the legal regulations which could be used in order to eliminate the negative impact of the online games and the second problem would discussed about whether or not the criminal law could be implemented in the process of eliminating the negative impact of the online games for the children. The type of this thesis is the normative thesis with the data collection process through reading and taking notes from books, documents, literature, legal regulations and the interview. In this thesis, there is being founded two results of the research. The first result is that until now there is no regulation which is specifically regulate about the internet and the online games. The second result is the effort in the criminal law is being needed in order to eliminating the negative impact from the online games but as merely the ultimum remidium.
