Abstract

Along with the advancement of technology is one of service Bank launches ATM (Auto Teller Machine) to facilitate customer transactions anywhere, but the use of ATM cards have problems that could harm customers as a consumer. From the above background, it is in the writing of this thesis has major issues, namely: How does the legal protection for customers of Bank BNI 46 in the event of a loss in the use of an ATM card?. This study is an empirical study, conducted by reviewing the legal community behavior which results in social facts as the primary data and secondary legal materials into materials as a supporter. The conclusion of this study indicate that customers have not protected their rights due to the dominance of the bank, the bank would be liable if the loss is caused by the bank.
