Abstract
The legal problem in this research is how the farm forestry is conducted in Dengok Village, Playen District, Gunungkidul Regency after the implementation of the Law Number 41 of 1999 on Forestry juncto the Regulation of Forestry Minister Number: P.26/Menhut-II/2005 on the use of proprietary-right forest. This is an empirical study of which the data gathered are primary and secondary data. The primary data was gathered through interviews with the board members of SHOREA foundation, and assessor from P.T TUV International Indonesia, and the officer of Forestry and Plantation Department in Gunungkidul Regency as the source person and five members from Community Forest Management Group (PPHR) Ngudi Lestari as the respondents. The secondary data was gathered through a library research on Proprietary-Right Forest or Farm Forestry.
