Abstract

The title of this research is narcotic abuse prevention in Temanggung District. The aim of this research is to: 1) explain the narcotic abuse prevention in Temanggung District, 2) describes the obstacles faced in tackling narcotic abuse in Temanggung District. This researhc uses a normatif law method. The results of the research is consisted of two: 1) the reduction of narcotic abuse in Temanggung is done through prevention efforts by the Police drug investigation unit of Temanggung District and the National Narcotic Agency of Temanggung District (BNNK), through preemtive and preventive measures and the implementation of the function of prevention and community efforts by police, prosecutors and judges. 2) obstacles faced in implementing the response is in the form of contraints on the internal and external contraints.
