Abstract

This thesis is police handling constraints violations of motor vehicle traffic in the district sikka. Traffic violations are stiffened offenders motorists who do not obey traffic laws. Traffic violation is a problem that must be addressed by district police sikka. This due to the amount of motor vehicle traffic violations every years increases. In this thesis there is the problem which would be elaborated is whether the constraints or the police in handling motor vehicle traffic violation the district sikka. The type of this thesis is the normative thesis which focuses on the norms of positive law in the form legislation from highest hierarchy to the lowest as the main data and data supporting the police interviews in the resort sikka. In this thesis there has been found the result of the research is the police sikka have problem in handling vehicular traffic violation that limited personnel, lack of facilities and infrastructure, levels of public is still lacking and the lack of public awareness level. Authors propose suggestion for law enforcement agencies, especially the police district sikka start to the addition of infrastructure to the improve the performance of the police regarding and prevention and combating such a rational approach, educating and coaching, social and education and about traffic should be encouraged again to introduce legislation early traffic, police conduct raids and patrols to areas prone to traffic violations and strict action against traffic violation.
