Abstract

In writing a thesis the authors discuss police efforts and constraint in tackling illegal levies against the truck driver entrenchment c sleman in the district. It is backed by the fact the more rampant wild charges that occur in the community and to date its existence has yet to be eradicated up to its roots. formulation of the problem in this research are: an attempt is made to police in tackling the negative consequences brought about by the perp wild charges, and obstacles are encountered polres sleman Regency in order to cope with the wild charges. This method of approach in writing is a kind of empirical legal studies, this research is conducted directly to the respondents and interviewees as its main data supported by secondary data which consists of primary and secondary legal materials. The source of the data in this study were obtained by means of the study field and the study of the literature. Data obtained in research libraries as well as in field research using qualitative analysis. By virtue of analysis that has been done by the writer so inconclusive as follows: efforts to tackle illegal levies police action in the district sleman preventive, is to make efforts and obstacles faced by police in tackling illegal levies action in the district sleman is the lack of policemen take care of pickets at each polsek police, and the sentry lack of operational vehicles and consciousness and a deterrent effect of an offender illegal charges that is still low so it would be quite difficult to remove the overall the activities of illegal charges in the county of sleman.
