Abstract
This research investigates the effect of corporate social responsibility to market value added at manufacture companies that listed in theIndonesia Stock Exchange. The research was conducted at the manufacture companies that listed in theIndonesia Stock Exchange. The data that was analyzed is an quantitative data inthe form of time series in 2009-2011. Those quantitative data in the form was such as calculationof Corporate Social Responsibility Index (CSRi) and Market Value Added data. Data analysis using descriptiveanalysis and single regression analysis. There are findings in this studythat the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility as measured bythe Corporate Social Responsibility Index haven’t influence on Market Value Added of manufacture listedcompanies in the IDX when the data is iscompared to thesame yearandbetweenCSR data yearstwithMVA datayeart+1.Butat the timeof dataanalysis usingCSR datainyearstwiththe dataMVAquarter IIyeart+1was foundthat there are significantbetweenCSRandMVA
