Abstract

The title is “Discrimination Towards Convict in Detention Center”. This writing is to report about any discrimination that is happened (if there any) towards detention center in Wirogunan Yogyakarta, and what effort has to be done in order to eliminate discrimination in detention center. The research method that is used is normative, by using an secondary subject as main data, and primary subject as supporting data. The result of the research shows that Wirogunan Detention Center is free from discrimination, there is no distinction between the convict and the officer in that area, and between convict. The method and effort that Wirogunan Detention Center used is to give a positive self development based on society and many positive activities towards the convict. The writers of this research hope that more in the future Wirogunan Detention Center can help this method and become an example to any other detention center clean, no discrimination, treated equally, and many positive activities.
