Abstract

In writing a thesis this, writer discussed efforts police in countermeasures speedway in the county of bantul.The drop was triggered the presence of the fact the increasingly growing the action of activity speedway that happens in society and until now its existence is still cannot be eradicated until up by the roots. The formulation of problems in this research that is: why wild race in the region of district Bantul difficult eradicated; and the constraints faced by police in tackling the speedway happened in the district Bantul.A method of approach in writing this is the kind of research law normative, the study is done directly to the speakers as data mainly supported with the data secondary consisting of a law primary and secondary. Data resources in this research obtained by means of study kepustakaan and interview.The data in research kepustakaan and interview processed with qualitative analysis. By virtue of analysis that has been done by the writer so can be summed up as follows: speedway especially in the county of Bantul difficult eradicated due to lack of awareness of the absence of the rule of law, a lack of facilities, the absence of a race track wild race has become hoby, environmentalists who support the speedway and obstacles faced by police in tackling the wild race in the region of district bantul is a lack of information or support from the community and consciousness and a deterrent effect of an offender wild racing which is still low.
