Abstract

Are basically every victim of a criminal act some rights, one of the rights owned by victim of is the are entitled to get restitution terkaithak them as a victim. Irrespective of the victim of a criminal act it has an important role within the occurrence of an criminal act giving rise to casualties, but the rights someone as a victim of a criminal act should still be met and are protected as provided by statute. Research type is normative research that is research which reviewing the applicable legal norms. normative legal research reviewing the sources of literature which is the law material related to the implementation of rights victim of for get restitution. Data collection was that is literature a study legislations as well as the interviewing members of the Witness and Victim Protection Institute related the fulfillment of rights victim of for get restitution. The results showed that not all victims a criminal act the right to obtain restitution as set out within statute. Because of there is still a partly of the victim of do not know that victims criminal act has also the right and also because of the constraints is experienced the Witness and Victim Protection Institute within implementation of restitution. However, the Witness and Victim Protection Institute tried as much as possible for guarantee victim of a criminal act get the right fit which mandated statute.
