Abstract

Occupational health and safety is an important element in construction engineering. Research and development in construction health and safety is still needed in order to control the risk and to reduce the number of working accident. Controlling the element unsafe acts can be the key to reduce the number of working accident. Occupational health and safety training is one of many factors which can control the unsafe acts, which contrast with the majority of construction workers who never attend the health and safety training. A research regarding the relation between health and safety training aspect with construction workers‟ safe acts is specifically aimed to discover the positive influence of safety and health training with construction workers safe acts. This research uses the Pearson correlation method of analysis. The result of this research showed that the pearson correlation‟s coefficient which obtained is 0,629 with significance level of 0,000. The result explains the existence of strong correlation and significant relation between two variables.
