Abstract

Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the few provinces that passed a law on domestic workers . The emergence of the Governor of Special Region of Yogyakarta No 31 Year 2010 on Domestic Workers is responded by passing the Mayor’s Regulation No 48 Year 2011 on Domestic Workers. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of Governor of Special Region of Yogyakarta No 31 Year 2010 on Domestic Workers in Yogyakarta after the government of Yogyakarta passed the Mayor’s Regulation No 48 Year 2011 on Domestic Workers. This research uses empirical method. Data sources used are primary data through research done in the Yogyakarta community and secondary data which is regulation. Data collection techniques are by interview and questionnaires. The result of this research is the Governor of Special Region of Yogyakarta No 31 Year 2010 on Domestic Workers in Yogyakarta after the government of Yogyakarta passed the Mayor’s Regulation No 48 Year 2011 on Domestic Workers has not been implemented well so socialization to the community need to be held, and a change and content/material addition in Mayor’s Regulation No 48 Year 2011 on Domestic is needed.
