Abstract

This paper focusses on the scheduling problem of reducing the number of tardy order with considering the critical procee in worker allocation. Each worker has skill to do more than one processes but there are some processes that could be done only by one worker. This process is named as critical process. The prposed scheduling algorithim consist of 2 mechanism. i.e. order scheduling and worker allocation for production process stages. Order scheduling is performef using forward approach and earliest due date priority rule. Worker allocation is performed with considering availability of worker based on worker's skill, the needs of critical process, and the processes than can be done in parallel. Numerical experience using data of craft industry X shows that the proposed scheduling algorithm better performance in reducing the member of tardy order.
