Abstract
The study was conducted using empirical juridical approach, that isby searching data related to the research, and conducting direct interviews with the speakers to get data supporting for the writer of the thesis. This research is a research that aims to know the effectiveness of the regulation of criminal sanctions and to know the efforts of local law enforcement officers responsible in their field in the regulation of criminal sanctions to be imposed on the beggars who are located along the road Krumput, which is regulated in Regional Regulations Banyumas District number 16 of 2015. Based on the results of research and discussion daat known effectiveness of the regulation of criminal sanctions in the Regional Regulation of Banyumas Regency number 16 of 2015 on the guidance of the beggars who are along the road Krumput. The efforts that can be done to effectiveness implementation of criminal sanctions in the Regional Regulation of Banyumas number 16 of 2015 that is, by providing socialization, coaching and direct appeal to the beggars who are along the road Krumput. but still they still do the same thing that has become a habit that every day is done.
