Abstract
This research is aimed to find out the legal liability of sea transfort company to the freight cargos. The problem focus in this thesis is to company responsibility to the freight cargos. The research method applied by using normatif research is conducted by examine the provisions or applicable invitations laws and it is supported by interviews with trustworthy interviewer. The result shows that the carrier shouls take the responsible for replacing any losses that impact result of the carrier in accordance with law number 18 of the year 2008 about cruise chapter V ocean freight section nine of the carrier’s responsibility article 40 paragraph (1) of article 41 paragraph (1).
