Abstract

The thesis entitled Role Of Environment Agency Of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Regency To Control Sound Pollution ( Noise ) As A Result Of Flight Activities In Adisutjipto Internasional Airport Yogyakarta. The Purpose of this thesis is to known Role Of Environment Agency Of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Regency To Control Sound Pollution ( Noise ) As A Result Of Flight Activities In Adisutjipto Internasional Airport Yogyakarta. This type of research is an empirical type that use a primary data as the main data, which is the data that was obtained directly from respondents and the secondary data used as a support. Based on the discussion and research results as described, it can be concluded that the answers to the research problem formulation are as follows. The role of the DIY Environment Agency in the effort to control noise pollution (noise) as a result of flight activities at Yogyakarta's Adisutjipto International Airport has not yet been carried out, this is because the DIY Environment Agency did not obtain a mandate by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment, so in this case the task DIY Environment Agency can only control environmental pollution for activities that are not included in the national development program.
