Abstract

Construction of Industrial Estates is one way that will stimulate the improvement of the investment climate and the development of the business world which will lead to regional economic development. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the construction of industrial estates in Piyungan is appropriate and based on existing regulations, namely Bantul Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2011 concerning the Bantul Regency Spatial Plan for 2010-2030. Also to find out the factors/obstacles that hinder the construction of industrial estates in Piyungan, Bantul Regency. The type of research that will be conducted is Empirical Legal Research. The implementation of industrial estate development in Bantul District has been carried out as it should and is in accordance with Bantul Regional Regulation no. 4 of 2011 which regulates the spatial plan for the Bantul district in 2010-2030. Constraints that occur in the construction of industrial estates in Bantul regency: in Zone 4 and Zone 5 there are village treasuries and ground sultans so that there is rejection and obstruction for 3 years, access roads, and late payments from PT. Yogyakarta Isti Pratama since February 2018.
