Abstract

International Politic is an instrument to actualize national interest which hold outside of nation territory. Internal major factor which support dynamic of international politic are national economic power and national military one. Indonesia has been struggling in building its national military power because they have always been depending on the foreign defense industry to accomodir the needs of main tools of defense system. Through implementation of a law number 16 of 2012 about Defence Industry, Indonesia currently try to empower its national military power, specifically its defense industry. This research was conducted to analize how Independence Fulfillment for Main Tools of Defense System Will Influence International Politic of Indonesia. This research included as a normative method with a law approachment. Object in this research is independence fulfillment for main tools of defense system. The result showed that implementation of a law number 16 of 2012 about Defence Industry meet national interest of Indonesia, then in line with international politic of Indonesia.
