Abstract

This paper is motivated by rules on civil servants who are prohibited from participating in providing direct support to legislative and executive candidates at the time of election to maintain neutrality. disciplinary violations can occur if the regulation is not seriously applied by the government, so the writer raises this issue with the title "Enforcement of Government Regulation Number 53 Year 2010 concerning Discipline of Civil Servants at the Office of Political Unity and Unity of Bantul Regency". The purpose of this study is to find out how the Government of Bantul Regency in enforcing the provisions of Government Regulation No. 53 of 2010 concerning Discipline of Civil Servants at the Office of National and Political Unity of Bantul Regency. In this study, researchers used empirical research and primary data as the main data obtained through the use of questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire was decided using a random sampling method given to 7 civil servants at the Office of Unity and National Politics of Bantul Regency. the result is that there are no civil servants subject to disciplinary action. This happened because of a circular, counseling, and socialization from the Head of the Unity and Politics Office of Bantul Regency. Keywords: enforcement, discipline, civil servants
