Abstract
Diplomatic missions are the efforts of a country to carry out foreign policy with other countries or other international organizations, with the aim of promoting better relations. The implementation of a diplomatic mission is carried out by a diplomat. As it grows, even though members of the foreign diplomatic in a country protected by the norms of international law, but it is often a violation of even the violence that disrupt the smooth diplomatic missions. In carrying out diplomatic missions, Article 29 of the 1961 Vienna Convention states that diplomatic agents should not be contested (inviolability), the receiving State shall take appropriate measures to prevent attacks against members of the mission. But if the receiving state failed to protect members of the mission, are there legal consequences and the state's responsibility for the receiving state?
