Abstract
This research entitled consumer protection in beauty care practices by beauty clinics uses empirical juridical research methods with the research location in the city of Surakarta, Province of Central Java. This research was made against the background of the many cases involving beauty clinics with patients and / or former patients related to non-litigation dispute resolution efforts within the scope of beauty clinics. A beauty clinic literature study was carried out by analyzing Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, Law Number 29 of 2004 concerning Medical Practice, and Regulation of the Minister of Health 9 of 2014 concerning Clinics, data collection was carried out using a questionnaire method towards beauty clinic consumers in Surakarta City, and the conclusion is that the implementation of the rights and obligations of beauty clinics has not been implemented optimally.
