Abstract

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak that has become pandemic and have been spreading throughout the world, Government of Indonesia has implemented PPKM activities to suppress the spread of the virus. For example, carrying out a Work from Home system at the Civil Registry Service Office in Denpasar City. Therefore, people are facing problems in making Birth Certificates where its quota are always full. The title of this thesis is Denpasar City Civil Registry Service Policy in Handling the Problem of Online Birth Certificate Making Services. This study uses normative legal research, by conducting literature studies and interviews with Denpasar City Community and Civil Registry Service Office. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of making birth certificates through online services, to find out the obstacles that occur while dealing with online birth certificate service, and to find out the efforts made by the Civil Registry Service Office in Denpasar City to overcome the obstacles of making birth certificates through online services.
