Abstract

Development carried out on agricultural land has become one of the serious threats to the sustainability of food self-sufficiency. The intensity of development on agricultural land is still difficult to control, such rapid population growth and the intensity of development that develops in various fields will of course lead to an increase in demand for land. As a result, a lot of productive agricultural land will be utilized for development. The type of research used in this legal research is empirical legal research. Empirical legal research focuses on how legal phenomena occur in society or social facts contained in society. This research was conducted directly to respondents and resource persons to obtain data related to the Implementation of The Transfer of Functions of Agricultural Land Property Rights for Restaurants in Sleman Regency.The implementation of the conversion of agricultural functions into non-agricultural land for restaurant business premises in Prambanan District, Sleman Regency is in accordance with the procedure. The obstacles that occur in the transfer of the function of agricultural land by sendri restaurants are obstacles in the long period of processing permits bor business actors (in this case restaurants) who want to convert agricultural land into nonagricultural land for restaurant establishments in Prambanan District must fulfill the procedures completely and be adjusted to the spatial layout so that the licensing process can be taken care of quickly.
