Abstract
This Legal Writing is entitled Implementation of security, safety, health, and sustainability standards in construction work contracts to prevent building failures (Case Study: PT. Wasiat Sarwo Trengginas). The problem in this research is how to implement security, safety, health, and sustainability standards in construction work contracts to prevent building failures and how to form the responsibility of service providers in the event of a building failure due to not implementing security, safety, health, and sustainability standards. The research method used in this Legal Writing is empirical legal research by looking at how security, safety, health, and sustainability standards are implemented in the implementation of construction services (legal effectiveness). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of security, safety, health, and sustainability standards has not been fully implemented in terms of the use of high quality building materials, the provision of a complete social security program for workers, namely work safety insurance, death insurance, and day insurance old age, socialization, promotion, and education to users to support sustainable infrastructure utilization. In the event of a building failure, PT. Wasiat Sarwo Trengginas will be responsible according to the size of the error made based on the assessment determined by the expert appraiser. The form of liability carried out by the failure of the building is immediately repaired.
