Abstract
The government''s way of ensuring legal certainty of land rights is by holding a land registration. Therefore, the government issued a program to accelerate land registration so that all land in Indonesia could be registered, namely the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL). The PTSL program is implemented in all regions of the Republic of Indonesia, including in West Kutai Regency.The type of research used in this legal research is empirical legal research. Empirical legal research focuses on how legal phenomena occur in society or social facts that exist in society. This research was conducted directly to respondents and informants to obtain data related to Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) in West Kutai Regency.The registration of land ownership rights through PTSL in 2022 in Lambing Village, Muara Lawa District, West Kutai Regency is in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2018 concerning Complete Systematic Land Registration.The author advises the West Kutai Regency National Land Agency in terms of implementing PTSL activities to try to anticipate obstacles during PTSL activities. The PTSL Adjudication Committee needs to make people aware of the importance of having land certificates for land legal certainty, so that community participation can be even higher in the implementation of PTSL activities.
