Abstract

This thesis is entitled "IMPLEMENTATION OF REGISTRATION OF TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP RIGHTS TO LAND DUE TO INHERITANCE IN SLEMAN REGENCY”. The aim of this research is to find out how the registration of transfer of ownership of land is implemented and what obstacles there are in the process in Sleman Regency. There were 5 respondents and data was collected through empirical legal research. Empirical legal research is research conducted directly with respondents based on facts in the field using primary data as the main data. The research results show that registration of the transfer of ownership rights to land due to inheritance was carried out by all respondents but with different distances, times and constraints. There are several respondents who have finished registering, but there are also respondents who are still in the registration process. On the other hand, not all respondents understand the process and procedures regarding registering the transfer of ownership rights to land due to inheritance and not all respondents realize how important it is to immediately register and transfer ownership rights to land.
