Abstract

This legal writing is an implementation of Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning Land Acquisition for Development in the Public Interest in the implementation of the construction of the Solo-Yogyakarta Section I Toll Road in Pepe Village, Ngawen District, Klaten Regency, Central Java. Specifically regarding the Land Acquisition stages which are related to how compensation is provided to entitled parties. The formulation of the problem is the implementation of providing compensation in land procurement for the construction of the Solo- Yogyakarta Section I Toll Road in Pepe Village, Ngawen District, Klaten Regency, Central Java. The analytical method used in this thesis is qualitative research. In the research results, the stages of land acquisition and implementation of compensation are the same as regulated in law. However, in assessing land acquisition objects for the public interest, there is still one party who does not agree with the amount of compensation determined by the assessment agency and is unwilling to relinquish ownership rights to the land as state land.
