Abstract

With the emergence of problems related to the environment, the Yogyakarta city government needs to make efforts to prevent and overcome the adverse impacts that occur. The Yogyakarta city government issued a legal product, namely Yogyakarta Mayor Regulation Number 6 of 2010 concerning the Provision of Private Green Open Space to reduce environmental problems. The provision of private green open space is the responsibility of the private sector, so supervision needs to be carried out so that its Implementation can be run by the rules. This study uses normative legal research methods that focus on analyzing legal norms, the types of data used are primary legal materials that have binding power for legal subjects and secondary legal materials that do not have binding power for legal subjects, data collection is carried out by reviewing literature on primary data and secondary data and conducting interviews. The general principles of good governance (AAUPB) act as guidelines for the Yogyakarta City Government through the Public Works Office of Housing and Residential Areas (DPUPKP) in supervising the implementation of Yogyakarta Mayor Regulation Number 6 of 2010 which is one of the technical standards that must be met to obtain building permits. The obstacles faced in supervision are the lack of human resources (HR) at DPUPKP. DPUPKP makes efforts to overcome these obstacles by optimizing the number of existing human resources by providing a double duty burden to carry out supervision according to their abilities and competencies.
