Abstract

Women and children are the most trafficking victims. Women are more dominant victims of trafficking because women are considered the most vulnerable. Victims are usually deceived, inhumanized, and exploited. This legal writing aims to analyze the factors that result in the exploitation of female workers and how law enforcement against the exploitation of female workers based on Law Number 21/2007 concerning the Eradication of Trafficking in Persons.This legal writing uses empirical legal research methods that focus on social facts. The exploitation of female labor can be caused by a variety of complex and often interrelated factors. Law enforcement against the exploitation of Women Workers based on Law Number 21 of 2007 has not been optimal because there are still many factors that become the occurrence of exploitation of Women Workers even though they already have legal certainty which has regulated criminal sanctions against perpetrators who exploit victims in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia or in other countries in the form of imprisonment and fines. As a result of the lack of optimal law enforcement in this exploitation action, efforts need to be made to suppress exploitation so that the level of the problem of exploitation of female labor decreases.
