Abstract

Land is a natural resource whose existence is very important for human survival. Therefore, land is often the object of dispute because the number and area of land are relatively not increasing. One of them is that overlapping or multiple certificates appear on the same plot of land, due to an error during the data collection process. This study discusses about implementation of dual certificate dispute resolution in Denpasar City. The purpose of this research is to find out how to resolve disputes in order to create legal certainty and to find out the existing obstacles. The method in this research is empirical legal research using qualitative data analysis. The data sources used are primary, secondary, interviews, and literature studies. Drawing conclusions using inductive thinking methods. The results of the study show that this dispute resolution method can be through the courts and out-of-court channels. The hope is that disputes like this don't happen again, if there are problems, please report them to the local land office immediately.
