Abstract
Improving the quality of public services must be balanced with improving the quality of government agencies at various levels. Civil Servants (PNS) play a role in public services, with rights guaranteed in Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning State Civil Apparatus. Performance allowances are a crucial element in human resource management which aims to motivate civil servants to achieve better performance and improve discipline. This research wants to know the effect of the implementation of providing performance allowances for Civil Servants on the level of discipline for civil servants in the PTUN Yogyakarta environment. This research is empirical legal research that uses primary data as the main data and is supported by secondary data. The data obtained is explained qualitatively. Conclusions are drawn using inductive thinking methods. As a result, it can be seen that the implementation of providing performance allowances to Civil Servants has had a good influence on the performance of Civil Servants in the Yogyakarta PTUN environment. This can be proven by the increase in the level of civil servant discipline from year to year which can be seen from the annual civil servant attendance data.
