Abstract

Forests are the dominant terrestrial ecosystem on Earth, where forests are spread throughout the world. Each country has its own forests, forests that are spread out and vast make a huge contribution to the world's ecosystem and are important for maintaining global environmental balance. Grand Forest Park is part of a conservation forest area in Indonesia which has special characteristics. This forest area has the main function of preserving the diversity of plants, animals and ecosystems. The impact of forest fires is damage to the ecosystem within the Bukit Barisan Forest Park area, besides that, another negative impact is the smoke that spreads around the area which causes respiratory problems and even worse, can cause asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. , and heart disease and eye irritation. The method used in this research is the empirical legal research method.
