Abstract

There are many people who upload pieces of movies that are done in series with a duration of 1 - 5 minutes without the permission of the creator of the film in Tiktok. The existence of this phenomenon makes cinematrogafi creators suffer losses. Tiktok also did not immediately handle the problem by deleting or suspending the account that committed the action. This research was conducted to analyze the factors that control Tiktok in handling the problem of uploading film cuts in it. This type of research is normative legal research. The results of this study indicate that what is an obstacle is that Tiktok does not immediately remove the content in the form of uploading pieces of the film because there is no complaint offense from the creator. If the creator does not report the act of uploading the movie cut to Tiktok or the law enforcement, then the content will remain on Tiktok and will not be removed.
